Cori Ellingson was born, raised and lived most of her life in the Peace River Country, located in northern BC and Alberta, Canada.
Inititiation into Trancendental Meditation at the age of 16 helped to shape her life. As a deep philosophical thinker, she tended to put pen to paper and with the remoteness of the north, books became her doorway to the world.
A lifelong learner, Cori has immersed herself in a variety of topics from health and personal growth to spirituality. She even became a Reflexologist by correspondence, a skill she has used for more than 30 years. As a stay at home mother on a grain farm, she had her part in raising three wonderful children, while riding horses, gardening and living close to the earth.
Her free spirit, always seeking the joyfulness of living spiritually and authentically, has taken her on a path rich with adventure. Driven by a deep desire to see the world and connect with people of other cultures, she has traveled many parts of the world including China, Hawaii, France, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize, the US and Canada.
Her zest for understanding has drawn her to study a wide variety of transformative modalities, with a great focus on the shamanic wisdom of the indigenous people of the world. She has passionately studied the Ancient Hawaiian wisdom, the South American Medicine Wheel and Plains Native wisdom of North America.
She leads workshops, does private healing work, speaking engagements and offers regular earth honoring ceremonies. Cori's first book called Vision Quest, invites the reader on a personal experience of this ancient indigenous practice. Her first CD, Sounds of the Ancients, is a companion to her workshops on employing power of sound through Chanting.
Her focus with interactions is to stimulate client's self-awareness and inner healing, allowing the infinite power of the Great Mystery to open the reconnection to inner wisdom. She radiates peaceful, loving energy and holds vision, truth and light for all.
Cori's wholistic approach was developed over 25 years while acquiring various skills including:
Certified NLP Trainer, Time Line Therapist, Journeywork
These transformational processes can allow the release of years limiting patterns, including anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, grief, anger, chronic pain. This is cellular healing at the deepest level.
Reiki Master, Reflexologist, Massage Therapy, Body Communication Practitioner
A uniquely tailored combination of Reiki (energy work), Reflexology (massage of specific points on the body), can gently and efficiently release the memory of emotions or trauma locked in the tissues. These old memories can slow the body's natural energy flow which can cause resistance to new experiences and change. These processes open fresh energy flow within the body, assisting us in moving with the flow of life.
Mesa Carrier, Plains Native Spirit Drum Carrier and Medicine Bundle Holder
Illumination, chanting, drumming and other processes open and shift our neurology and reconnect us with the power of the natural world around us and the wisdom of spirit within us.
Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Facilitator
Client comments:
Cori, thank you for your skills in helping me fast forward from a very deep emotional shock. If it had not been for our work together I believe it would have been months or years for me to go through the grief process instead of just three weeks. There was a big sense of acceptance and healing following the first session. Best regards. A.W. Calgary

I'm a local athlete who suffered a severe injury. Getting back to 100% healthy means dealing with all aspects of the injury. One of the biggest factors was how much an injury affects the mind and whole body. The energy work to accelerate healing and dealing with it mentally to see myself healthy again has been a tremendous help. Thank you. K.D. Calgary

Life itself is the great journey.
There is no destination.
Our happiness depends upon understanding this.
Each moment of every day is part of this journey;
each moment has the potential to fulfill us.
Our family life, our work, our habits,
our morning walk, time with friends, all these
are excellent opportunities for experiencing
moments of happiness.
Within these simple daily activities is
hidden the meaning of life.
